Diesel Technology
Grades 9-12
Diesel technology involves the maintenance, repair, and optimization of diesel engines, commonly used in vehicles, heavy equipment, and generators. Diesel technology focuses on fuel efficiency, emissions control, and overall engine performance.
A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to inspect, repair, service, and maintain diesel engines in vehicles such as diesel medium heavy trucks, buses, ships, trucks, railroad locomotives, and construction equipment; as well as stationary diesel engines in electrical generators and related equipment.
