Electronics, a branch of electrical engineering, involves the design, development, and application of electronic devices, circuits, and systems, utilizing properties of electrical components like resistors, capacitros, and transistors for signal processing, communication, and control.

This program blends CTE and engineering courses, giving students the chance to apply technical and STEM skills to solve real-world problems in security and biomedical fields. Students learn to install, operate, maintain, and repair electronics and systems, including residential, commercial, and industrial equipment, DC and AC power, and controls. Instruction covers wiring, power transmission, safety, testing, inspection, and applicable codes and standards.
