Computerized Machining Design
Grades 9-12
Engineering training focuses on diagnosing, optimizing, and designing using advanced technology. It builds expertise in machinery systems and precision processes, preparing for roles in high-demand manufacturing environments.
This pathway provides the opportunity to blend Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses with Engineering courses to help students apply technical skills along with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) skills to solve real-world problems. CMM Engineers design, develop and run programs that direct machines to cut and shape metal or plastic for airplanes, automobiles and other industrial machines. CMM Engineers use blueprints and three-dimensional computer designs to create programs that produce precisely machined products.
